Carmen Brinn, Kindergarten Teacher

Hello TCCS Friends and Families. My name is Carmen Brinn and I am the new kindergarten teacher.  I am so excited to be a part of this wonderful community and am looking forward to a wonderful school year! I wanted to share a little information about myself. I have been working as a kindergarten teacher for the past two years at a community based charter school in Newark New Jersey. I recently graduated with my Masters in Education from Bank Street College of Education where I studied early childhood general and special education. I enjoy singing and performing and am excited to bring music and theatrics into my classroom. Again I am so happy to be apart of this wonderful community  and look forwarded to an amazing school year!

Christina Hunter, Special Education Teacher
My name is Christina Hunter and I am the new resource room teacher. I attended Seton Hall University where I received my degree in Elementary and Special Education with a minor in Psychology. I have taught in various school settings over the past few years which has given me a variety of experiences. I am looking forward to getting to know the students and families here at Teaneck Community Charter School. I have a great passion for learning and I cannot wait to pass this onto my students!

Yvette Skaff, Paraprofessional
My name is Yvette Skaff and I'm in K-2 with Miss Lynda as the Kindergarten teacher's aide. As a mom of three and certified teacher for both K-5,5-8 English and Special Ed., I have learned many tips and tricks of teaching along the way. I have a love of the wonder and excitement that the children possess and wanted to work in a field that allows me to interact with them on a regular basis. In my spare time, I love traveling, planning parties, dancing with my kids, and visiting family.

Juyoung Lee, Math Teacher (Maternity Replacement)
I am the math teacher for 5th and 6th graders, replacing Ms Yoon during her maternity leave. I have a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from the Seowon University in South Korea. I also have been awarded Professor Assistant from the Sungkyunkwan University in South Korea. In addition, I have successfully passed the Korean PreService Teacher Program with Honors from the Bloomfield College and coordinated with the South Korean Ministry of Education. I am really eager to educate your children and improve their math skills. I have comprehensive knowledge of mathematics and I truly promise that I will put great effort into teaching mathematics to the best of my ability.

Angela Araneo, Speech Therapist
I am excited to be your new speech therapist. I have a master’s degree in Communication Disorders & Sciences from William Paterson University and have received my Speech Language Pathology certification from the New Jersey Department of Education in 2013. My goal as the TCCS speech therapist is to provide high quality service to meet the needs of your children both in pullout programs and push-in programs. Please feel free to call me with any concerns you have regarding speech and language development.

Chelsey Noyes, Paraprofessional
My name is Chelsey Noyes. I spent the last year TCCS helping in the cafeteria, assisting the teachers, and substituting in the classroom. This year I am excited to be an aide for the 1-2 classrooms. I have a Bachelors degree in Computer Arts from Fairleigh Dickinson University and in the future I hope to work towards my masters in teaching.
