Dear TCCS Community,

In the wake of Hurricane Sandy we have decided that we want to "Adopt a School" to help those in need. Robert L. Craig School in Moonachie was destroyed as a result of the flooding and all of their students and teachers have been displaced and all supplies and materials lost. We are asking all parents to donate school supplies and gift cards as we try and help families in Moonachie begin to rebuild and move forward. We will be accepting donations in the Atrium up until 10:00am this Friday, November 9th. Below is a list of school supplies that are needed and if anybody is available to help us drop-off the donations Friday afternoon at Wood-Ridge High School please let me know.

School Supplies:

Book bags, lunch bags, pencils, pencil boxes, binders, paper, reading books, pens, highlighters, rulers, calculators, markers, colored pencils, notebooks, crayons, scissors, tape, sharpies, post-its, folders, glue sticks, papers clips, staplers, etc

Gift Cards in $10 Denominations:

Lakeshore Learning Store, Staples, Barnes and Nobles, Target, Amazon, Kmart, Bosland's Learning Plus, Really Good Stuff, Scholastic

*We would like for each student to bring in at least one of the items above to donate before the Harvest Festival on Thursday. We think that it is appropriate as we celebrate a fun day on Thursday we keep in mind those who have lost so much during Hurricane Sandy.

If you have any questions or would like to help out for this great cause please let me know.

-Mr. D
